I can’t imagineĀ being the type of person that assumes all humor should simply fall into one or two categories.
Or even the type to think that building limitations around jokes is pure comedy.
I mean, comedy is a science.
And honestly, I don’t see how people who seriously think Friends is funnier than Seinfeld have the audacity to tell me anything.
I mean, inflating people’s ego is one thing, but then when I think about it…
I mean, when I actually think of something genuinely funny, I definitely don’t think of what’s normal.
Or safe for that matter.
Except, I’m on a re-watch of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
And I might be a little biased when I say this, but Larry David is 100% funnier.
And only because Seinfeld is a lot safer, in my opinion.
But anyway, humor is one of those things that’s impossible to gatekeep, really.
I mean, who’s to tell me what to laugh at.
And I hate laugh tracks, they throw off the pacing.
I mean, why is laughter even scripted?
And for the life of God, what is Kramer’s first name!
Until next time.
