I can’t imagine being the type of person who assumes all humor should simply fall into one or two categories.
Or even the type who thinks building limitations around jokes is pure comedy.
I mean, comedy is a science.
And honestly, I don’t see how anyone who thinks Friends is funnier than Seinfeld have anything to tell me.
I mean, inflating people’s ego is one thing but then again…
When I actually think of something genuinely funny, I definitely don’t think of what’s safe or normal for that matter.
Except, currently I’m on a re-watch of Curb Your Enthusiasm and I might be a little biased when I say this but Larry David is 100% funnier.
And only because Seinfeld is a lot more safer in my opinion.
But anyway, humor is one of those things I think is impossible to gatekeep, really.
I mean, who’s to tell you what to laugh at?
And I mean I hate laugh tracks…they throw off the pacing.
And why is even laughter scripted?
And what the hell is Kramer’s first name?
Until next time.
